Easily create cross-tables reports with the Quick Report editor
A new step has been reached in 4D v16 R2 with the 64-bit Quick Report editor: the cross-table reports are now available!
As you probably already noticed, the new Quick report for 64-bit versions had been fully redesigned since v15 R3 to provide you and your end-user with a better user experience. After list reports which were available as the very first step, we are now moving forward and delivering cross-table reports.
Customize highlight color upon listbox row selection
A new step is reached to provide our developers with a fully customizable listbox object, entirely adaptable to user need. A new option is available in the listboxes that will allow to improve final interfaces: this option is called “Hide selection highlight”.
With just one click this option can be activated. Once activated, the system highlight will be completely invisible.
Application sleep notification
With the new network layer, we can implement new functions that were impossible with the legacy network layer. The first is the application sleep notification.
Smooth product activation
4D v16 is now providing an easy and smooth product activation. Either for development or for deployment, benefit from an improved user experience when activating your 4D products!
Single Sign On (SSO)
For our customers running client-server applications on Windows, it is possible with 4D v15 R5 to enhance the end-user experience by using the Single Sign On feature, which basically allows your end-user logged into the system to also use their 4D application without being asked to re-enter any login/password.
Quick Report Editor fully rewritten

More control on GRAPH command
The GRAPH command has been totally refactored to ease the use and customization of your graphs. Moreover it has been enhanced to give you the full control on the various graph properties.
Label Editor has been redesigned
