4D Write Pro: More display options for anchored pictures and text boxes!
So far 4D Write Pro documents, pictures can be either in line (just like a big character), behind or in front of the text. Text boxes (appeared in 4D v20) can also be placed in front or behind the text. A huge improvement comes with 4D 20 R5 where pictures and text boxes can now be surrounded by wrapping text!

Export 4D Write Pro documents to SVG format
4D Write Pro documents can be exported into different formats: PDF, Plain text, Microsoft Word, 4D Write Pro, HTML… To this list is now added the SVG format!
SVG is an image format. Thanks to that, you will be able to create previews of any page, integrate them in your interface, visualize them in browsers, on mobile devices, etc.
SVG “non-scaling-stroke” attribute support
Sometimes it’s preferable to have the lines of an object keep their original width, regardless of the applied transformation. For example, you draw a line on a map showing a user’s position and a destination. When the user zooms in on the map, you want to enlarge the map but have the line maintain its width.
4D View Pro: SVG conversion
Do you need to print a 4D form with an embedded 4D View Pro document, or maybe displaying part of the document in a 4D View Pro document? With the VP Convert to picture command, you can create an SVG from a part of the 4D View Pro document and handle it like a picture. We’ll show how in this blog post.
