At 4D, we’re excited about Apple’s Big Sur. In order to provide extensive support to our customers to test and run the new operating system with your 4D applications, both the 4D v18 LTS and Feature Release product lines are macOS Big Sur compatible!

Both 4D v18 R4 and 4D v18.3 LTS Hotfix 2 are compatible with macOS Big Sur. Even better … it’s true for Intel and Silicon/ARM Macs!

That’s why, for optimal compatibility and performance, we encourage you to use the most current 4D version. Feel free to join the conversation on the 4D forum where we’ll keep you updated with all the details!
