Article 1 – Organizing Company
4D, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 2,000,000 euros, whose registered office is at 66 route de Sartrouville – 78230 Le Pecq, France, entry 318 918 851 in the Trade and Companies Register of Versailles, France, is organizing a competition with the following terms and conditions.
Article 2: Conditions for participation – Objet
By entering the competition, participants agree to comply with all applicable terms and conditions.
The competition is open to professionals who are 4D clients of the closing date for enrolment in the competition. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. To enter the prize draw, you must find the amount of 5 digital Eggs hidden within the website.
There is a limit of one entry per person. In the event that 4D discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that the same person has made multiple entries, such person and any entries made by them shall be disqualified and, if such entrant has already been selected as a prize-winner, an alternative prize-winner will be selected in accordance with the process described above.
Any person that is an employee of 4D or its holding or subsidiary companies is not eligible to enter the prize draw. 4D reserves the right to disqualify any person that it knows is, or has reasonable grounds to believe is, ineligible for the prize draw as a result of this condition.
Article 3: How the competition takes place and how to enroll
Participants may enroll and take part in the competition from April Thursday 13th, 2017 to 10 AM CEST on April Tuesday 19th, and 2017 to 5 PM CEST
The competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time if considered necessary by 4D
Article 4: Selection of the winners
1. Announcing the results
The winners will be announced on April Tuesday 26th, 2017 via an email to the winning candidates.
2. Prizes
A Prize is not exchangeable, the cash payment is excluded.
The package will be sent to the postal address provided by the winners, upon 4D request.
Prize #1
Following the drawing, the first winner will get access to an online meeting with 4D Bloggers on Skype, or phone, or any other video conference system.
Winner will select his favourite 3 topics and ask 4D bloggers with questions in regards these topics!
A meeting date will be scheduled between the winner of the game, and the 4D blogger team.
Topics will have to be sent upfront, to help identifying the most relevant 4D bloggers to interact with the winner during the meeting.
The winner and the 4D bloggers will go more into the details of code example, to help the Second developer using the technologies within his application(s).
Extra prizes
The 20 next winners of the drawing will receive an exclusive 4D gift.
Prizes will be provided to the winner within 30 days of the closing date, provided 4D has been able to contact the winner in that time.
Article 5: Limitation of liability
The organizing company reminds participants of the internet’s specific characteristics and limitations, and refuses all responsibility related to participant’s enrollment.
The organizing company specifically refuses responsibility for any tangible or intangible damage incurred by participants, by their IT equipment or by the data they store therein, and for any personal, professional or commercial consequences which may result.
The organizing company refuses all responsibility should one or more participant(s) is unable to connect to the Internet and/or take part in the competition due to technical faults or any other issue, especially problems linked to network congestion.
Article 6: Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of France without reference of the conflict laws rules.
In the event of any dispute over these Terms & Conditions, and in particular any dispute as to their interpretation and/or application, the organizing company and competition participants grant the Commercial Court of Versailles (France) exclusive authority to adjudicate. The organizing company cannot be brought before any other court for any other reason.
If any part of the provisions presented herein is partially or entirely nullified, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
Article 7: Data protection & publicity
Participant’s contact details will be processed in accordance with French data protection laws of January 6, 1978. All participants have the right to access, rectify and remove any data, which relates to them: To exercise this right, they must contact the organizing company.
Competition participants authorize the organizing company to use their names and addresses for publicity purposes, without conferring any rights to remuneration, benefits or anything else beyond the appropriate prize.
Participant’s information are only to be used for the purposes of the competition and for promotional purposes and will not be shared with third parties, unless explicitly agreed in advance such as competitions that involve partners
